As part of our Community Benefit Society, we may need to collect the following information to register you as a volunteer, member or pioneer share member.

  • Emergency contact information.

  • Any volunteering tasks you would prefer not to do. 

The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • To register you as a volunteer

  • To register you as a member

  • To register you as a pioneer share member

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • Purchased goods via our website.

We use the information that you have given us in order to 

  • Process and deliver the goods purchased.

We may share this information with appropriate members of our team to contact you or manage your membership or purchase requirements. We may also need to share some details with partners for delivery or order requirements. 

We will never sell, swap or share your information with other companies for their marketing purposes.

Your information is securely stored on the Car-Y-Mor server and only members of the team who require the data to complete their jobs have access. 

We keep your contact information for a maximum of five years from your last communication date unless you inform us of your wish for us to dispose of your data prior to that date. We will then dispose of your information permanently by electronically deleting the file.
